The Topside Grille

Featuring the Hacker-Craft Bar

Proudly family owned and operated, Keith Scott, Culinary Institute of America alum, and his wife Kim, have been at the helm of The Algonquin Restaurant for 24 great years. Providing the local and visiting communities with excellent care, delicious food, and a fantastic experience has always been top priority. Along with Executive Chef David Carpenter, Keith and The Algonquin staff are excited to revive and share an old favorite Algonquin dining experience: Topside Grille.

With stunning, panoramic lake views featuring Buck Mountain and Sweet Briar Island, Topside Grille excites in its atmosphere as much as it does in its culinary explorations. Carefully crafted, our menu aims to delight in a variety of fine food preparations. From fresh seafood to prime steaks, appetizers that excite, and decadent homemade desserts, we’re sure that everyone will find something that they’ll love.

Re-imagined and renovated in 2015, The Algonquin’s Topside Hacker-Craft Bar is truly one of a kind. In a partnership with George Badcock and The Hacker-Craft Company, our showpiece bar was built using the same gorgeous materials (and care!) as the iconic wooden boats. A perfect location for a craft cocktail and great conversation, you’ll find yourself settling into the same genuine leather seats as an antique Hacker-Craft, a luxurious Lake George comfort.

We are thrilled to invite you back to Topside Grille and show you our revitalized dining experience. Keith and the dedicated Algonquin staff are excited to provide the service and care that will surely make you fall back in love and leave you wanting to join us again, and again.
